How in the world can “paypal” fine anyone for anything.??
Thanks to Freepers I was alerted to Pay Pal’s threats, screw them I just canceled my data and my account.
Can someone explain where the hate speech has to occur?
When I do a PayPal transaction I don’t normally trash lefties within their app.
Is PayPal looking at social media posts and then taking action?
PayPal is hate and intolerance. I made it 72 years with them, I can make it another 70.
Just canceled my PayPal account. Go woke, go broke!
That is the threat.
Closed Account.
yes, before you cancel delete ALL your financial information,. then also select delete all information, then cancel.
I did that last night, stunningly I got emails in the last few hours since saying my paypal account has paid out for bitcoin. It did not, but strange how it has been a long time since I got paypal scam spam but as soon as I cancel I get several.
Cancel them immediately!
I can’t log in to close my account because they want a phone number , I haven’t use it in many years ,LOL
Do all you folks who cancel your accounts and “data” really believe that PP will willingly throw away all that information on you that they’ve amassed and stored for all this time just because you clicked on “delete”?
I must wonder how does Paypal know who is promoting hate and intolerance. Are they setting up a tip line to turn people in? If so, I would like to report Joe the big guy.
My question too. The only avenue seems to be those “hateful and intolerant” organizations who use PayPal to raise funds.
I’d appreciate knowing other means.
Yes, what you are missing is that if Pay Pal were to determine that you post on FR, PP could charge you $2500 per post.
If you don’t have $2,500 in your PayPal account, will they charged you credit card or debit your bank account?
********
That’s what it sounds like to me.
Ebay owns Paypal.
How can a private company impose a fine on its customers? If that is legal, what keeps all companies from attempting to impose fines on their customers who walk into their stores.
Someone checks out at Walmart, and is informed that his tee shirt slogan violates their standards and a $500 fine is added to his bill. Of course, it won’t work so blatantly, but that is an analogy.
How can a private company impose a fine on its customers?
It’s called a “Not Paying Attention Fine” , LOL
Time for an alternatime to PayPal. Is there one out there?
