Well there’s only one other person who might possibly garner the support of the majority of Republican and independent voters in the next election, and last I heard Gov. DeSantis does not plan to become a candidate.
If Trump is not in prison or in the dirt, he WILL be the Republican candidate in 2024. Want to place a wager?

No one else comes close regarding any of those attributes. And more importantly, no one else has demonstrated the courage to tell the world that the ‘rats are in the process of destroying our country and vows to put an end to that destruction. NO ONE ELSE COMES CLOSE!

We need to think long term, and get a bit of a youth movement going. Trump 2016 was perfect for the time because he was something new and different.

Very “progressive” of you to think we need a youth movement. Unfortunately a large percentage of the young have been indoctrinated to believe that our country is inherently racist, and Capitalism must be replaced with Socialism.
As for thinking long term, that’s exactly what MAGA voters are doing: 2024 Trump, 2028 DeSantis, and 2032 DeSantis!
