I guess the author has conveniently forgotten that when the Soviet Union was broken up, it was with the West’s promise that NATO would not move any farther East.
I’m not a fan of Putin OR Zelinski; they’re both corrupt. But I believe this whole conflict has been managed by the West, to start a world war, in order to affect globalist goals, to fundamentally change political, material and physical life as we know it. Ghouls doing Satan’s work, all of them, including our own government. Ukraine’s hands are just as dirty as the rest of them. Lord have mercy on us all.

I have some sympathy with the actual real Ukrainians here. Their country -to the extent there is a viable nation state entity somewhere within its boundaries - is getting wrecked because Z and friends run a high quality money laundering racket, where US Tax $$ cycle back straight into the pockets of the swamp bottom feeders in DC. Z has expensive houses all over the place - so he keeps a tidy sum, but you also have to spread the wealth around or you wake up dead one day, and that costs a pretty penny. There is the globalist aspiration aspect of this too. Ukraine was to be the loss leader to allow the west to dismember and digest the more preferable pieces of the old backward corrupt Russian Federation, which is the payoff that makes the whole scheme worth it. Or would have except Putin had to remind the idiots in Brussels and London and DC that yes those old cold war relics - nuclear weapons - still exist and he out of all of us bothered to modernize - and he has more of them than us and that old dirty word deterrence raises its ugly head, which means stopping you from encroaching on my vital interests - deep state globohomos who misunderstand that woke doesn't defend against nukes.
Now a lot of Ukraine isn't Ukrainian. There are the Hungarian parts and the Polish parts and the Russian parts of it that we learn about daily and some other bits.
It's sort of screw all of them and stop trying to make it my circus. Maybe we should just nuke Kiev and let the neighbors take the pieces. But I want out of the utter madness before Z and FJB get us nuked.

his family were ‘’detained’’ at their dacha Rasia Gorbachev had a veritable stroke. She later said “I know our history’’.
She thought she and the whole family were going to end up the same way. The experience was a contributing factor in her suffering health problems and dying not long after.
