I figure there maybe 5-6000 men in the Lyman pocket, with whatever equipment they have left. Not a bad haul.

Note that the Russian Telegram map shows Lyman is already surrounded. The Russian map is often ahead of the more conservative Ukrainian map.

Your own Pro-Russian military sources fear that the fall of Lyman will result in a second collapse of the front line. Luhansk, which is being defended by 60 year old conscripts wielding ww1 rifles, is in danger of being re-captured.

And as for Kherson, a day does not go by that some new settlement is taken or some new ammo depot or base is destroyed.

Today, Izyum belongs to Ukraine and Lyman, even according to Russian sources, is surrounded.
