10 days ago many stations had gas for $2.99 in North Harris County. Not a Texas average.

Swear that I paid $4.99 last Friday for gas at a particular station station and this morning I drive by and it looks like it went up 69 cents to $5 65

Gas in a large part of Georgia is under 3$. But that is due to the governor suspending Ga Gas tax till Oct 12.

He didn't say it's average was under $3. I hate to defend that lying bastard about anything, but in this case he's correct. I haven't paid over $2.90 for gas in a couple of weeks.
He so rarely tells the truth that we make ourselves look like fools when we claim he's lying on the rare occasion where he isn't.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose 4.1 cents Monday to $5.84, its 24th consecutive increase. The average price has increased 59.4 cents over the past 24 days, including 11 cents Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
