That was their 'pre-insect-hunting' gathering place
before they headed out over the lake to hunt bugs.
They would start to gather there around dusk.
Sometimes there would be upwards of a hundred bats over the lake.
Know a woman who several years ago was diagnosed breast cancer.
A few week later she was gardening and was bit by a copperhead.
It cured her cancer!!!
