Then there’s the people who give you information one piece at a time, and ask for your opinion, and when you give it, they add a new fact and ask for it again. The way I deal with this is I tell them “Tell me everything you know about “X”.
And when they’re done, I ask “Is that everything you know?”
When they say “Yes”, I say “Now tell me all the things you know that you haven’t told me about yet.”
