I would guess they had port-a-potties set up along the way - they would have had to do something. Overall, it looks like the whole thing was well organized - signs along the way telling you how much longer it would be ‘til you were there.
Standing on one’s feet for 13.5 hours .... I’ve done marathon hikes around 14 hours & you’re moving the whole time - feet still feel like they’re going to fall off! He said the line was moving pretty well at first, but also got very slow, barely moving at times.
They have had one person try to rush the casket - police had him on the floor in 2 seconds. Not sure what he was going to do ... nothing good, I’m sure.

Forgive this off-topic note but didn’t the Ravens take the first receive per the coin toss AND THE GUY RAN IT RIGHT INTO A TOUCHDOWN!
First time I ever saw this happen. Be sure to watch a video of it, it was something to see. A 100 yard touchdown!

More from the Trafalgar guys (on CNN ! )
“They (CNN) asked him why his polling differs so much from other polling outfits. He said that basically “MAGA” Republicans are really difficult to poll because most simply refuse to participate. However, the “Establishment” anti-Trump Republicans will talk to pollsters, so the other polls are heavily weighted with establishment Republicans that tend toward moderate and liberal, which skews polling toward democrat candidates, but misses the huge swath of pro-Trump Republicans.
That happened in the Iron Bowl, Alabama versus Auburn, in 2010. Auburn won NCAA title for first time in dozens of years... 109 yards return!

And I’m not trying to one up you, but nothing much ever happens in Alabama so we tend to remember such things!

That was perhaps the most unexpected and thrilling play in my college football memory because it came from a missed field goal attempt which are almost never returned. And under those circumstances ! Wowzer.
This is the first time I ever saw such a return on a professional. But I can see that y’all kind understand my thrill of it.
Miami Dolphins getting destroyed by the Ravens, beginning with a ONE HUNDRED AND NINE YARD TOUCHDOWN.
Yeah, I taught at Auburn back then but was secretly a Roll Tider.
Even though Bama lost, it was a phenomenal play, and I said so publicly... Ticked off a few of my students (Yes, some Bama fans took my classes).
Who were the two guys at the end of Face the Nation this morning that were saying that Trump supporters were a threat to initiate violence and go beyond Jan.6 “insurrection” it Trump ran or was denied the right to run in 2024. I mean these guys were talking civil war and property destruction.
I just posted this as a thread - Neil Oliver, one of his best.

First couple of paragraphs:
[Transcript] – It is hard to think the unthinkable – but there comes a time when there’s nothing else for it. People raised to trust the powers that be – who have assumed, like I once did, that the State, regardless of its political flavour at any given moment, is essentially benevolent and well-meaning – will naturally try and keep that assumption of benevolence in mind when trying to make sense of what is going on around them.
People like us, you and me, raised in the understanding that we are free, that we have inalienable rights, and that the institutions of this country have our best interests at heart, will tend to tie ourselves in knots rather than contemplate the idea those authorities might actually be working against us now. I took that thought of benevolent, well-meaning authority for granted for most of my life, God help me. Not to put too fine a point on it, I was as gullible as the next chump.
A couple of years ago, however, I began to think the unthinkable and with every passing day it becomes more and more obvious to me that we are no longer being treated as individuals entitled to try and make the most of our lives – but as a barn full of battery hens, just another product to be bought and sold – sold down the river.
Let me put it another way: if you have been driving yourself almost demented in an effort to think the best of those in charge – those in senior positions in government, those in charge of the great institutions of State, those running the big corporations – but finding it increasingly impossible to do so … then the solution to the problem might be to turn your point of view through 180 degrees and accept, however unwillingly, that we are … how best to put this … being taken for a ride.
When you find a stranger’s hand on your wallet, in the inside pocket of your jacket … rather than trying to persuade yourself he’s only making sure it doesn’t fall out … it might be more straightforward to draw the conclusion you’re in the process of being robbed.
Once the scales fall from a person’s eyes, the resultant clarity of sight is briefly overwhelming. Or it is like being handed a skeleton key that opens every locked door, or access to a Rosetta Stone that translates every word into a language instantly understood.
Major Garrett and David Becker. They are hawking their book about “the BIG lie.”
They and their compadres are frothing at the mouth in anticipation of any miss-move they can paint as war, courtesy of President Trump and his cultists.
I’d say the same as Gandalf did in Theoden’s hall:
“You wouldn’t part an old man from his walking stick?”
But I would never use against the Queen.
My folks have one of those cane/seat combos. I believe it came from my German grandfather & it was taken along on hunting trips when someone needed to sit. The end that sticks in the ground is VERY pointed & sheathed in metal, too .... I’m not so sure it wasn’t also a “weapon” of sorts! It’s a cool looking piece .... obviously very old.

Thanks, I caught the tail end of the interview.... They were so excited about the possibility of a violent uprising with violence and maybe a civil war in their dreams... all Trump’s fault.. Their attitude is dangerous and they may get something they REALLY don’t want. OR they are just as you said, just trying to sell a book at the expense of the public and their fears and attitudes.
Ya took some lumps over there. Huh?
Hunnert rat here Larri.
There’s yer dinner!
