Presidential Drawdown Authority exists for unforeseen emergencies. If the Ukraine conflict ever qualified as such, it no longer does. Congress has met hundreds of times since the intervention commenced. There is no basis for continuing to rely on emergency authorities. This is an abuse.
Sending excess Himars to Ukraine will keep a Democrat President from saying “Man we have a lot of these laying around, we need to invade someone”
The Invasion at the Mexican border is close range enough we wouldn’t need HIMARS if it came to that.
Its better they are being used by non-US servicemen.
The good people of Camden AR will probably get a new Ford dealership and a remodeled Walmart out of the deal. Ukraine gets to keep its country and China learns invasions only work on paper.
