I have a Confederate uniform in my costume stash. My son wore it when he was 12 and I believe they are still available for purchase at many costume shops. This is beyond ridiculous and those R’s endorsing D’s over this triviality should be tarred and feathered.

Because he wore a confederate uniform. If you ever had a photo of yourself taken in a furry costume or SS uniform then proceeded to run for office, that wouldn’t pop up in your mind as a potential issue?

The civil War is a part of history. Does that mean ANY actor wearing any Uniform, i.e., WWII Normandy Reenactors will be prohibited from wearing German Uniforms.
