Face it. As fewer rational, decent people live within urban locales, the consensus for law and order diminishes greatly. The political process that remains is controlled by bizarre ideologues and the people elected are equally bizarre. Its only going to get worse.
If 10,000 of those signers were illegal aliens do you think they would be accepted? After all, they were good enough to vote in the 2020 election!

Currently it's only Leftists narcissists who want to be Democrat city mayors, and while there are quite a few of them, many don't have the attention span for a four-year job.

Black female politicians across the country have been exposed as menace to society. One after another they act like queen bees while their cities suffer crime waves. The male Adams in NYC is just as bad.
But, when those problems persist, time to look for new leadership. The same can be said for Chicago, LA, Portland, Detroit, NYC, and a bunch of other cities. Yet, voters keep putting the same hacks into office. So, where does the blame for poor performance land: on the inept person, or the voters who put them there?
Katrina was a blessing in disguise. Population was halved. Sounds like the low-lifes have returned. Same thing in Chile 30 years after Pinochet was gone. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
