Fine cancel all of it and when they do then the IRS needs to send out a form 1099 that classifies those loans as income and Taxes will be paid on that money. Lets see how Generations X and Z like that. Of course then they can file Bankruptcy to discharge that debt.
All that debt can handled in Bankruptcy Court, Student Loan Debt can’t.
So far they just announce student cancellation right before an election but after the election they don’t act on it. Lucy just takes the ball one more time.
This is so offensive to those of us that saved for our children’s college education, our parents who saved for ours, and everyone that worked their way through college.
They are taxing us, to help pay for graduate degrees that don’t pay enough to make $125k per year.
Also, $10k is a drop in the bucket for modern degrees.
Democrats are already trying to run away from this, nope, you own it!
No federal income on student loans til end of 2025.
So the country just goes deeper into Debt, what’s another $300 Billion or so.
It’s never enough.🙄
