the organization that reviewed and strongly recommended President Trump's excellent judicial nominees
I guess I missed that, his SCOTUS picks abandoned us when the corrupt uniparty stole the election.

This goes against the recent message that donations are down. I think that is out of context anyway. There are many that refuse to give money to the GOP because Romney’s RINO niece runs it.

Time to call Soros. They are not going to get $1.6 Billion from Soros.

His SCOTUS picks gave us the overturning of Roe.

The Federalist Society is second only to Reagan in saving conservatism from the wilderness. It's hard to overstate its important to conservative legal thought, and to advancing originalism through the judiciary.
And it's pretty much the furthest thing from a secret society that you can get. The meetings are open, and not just to lawyers. One of its biggest strengths is that it does not limit the ideas that get expressed at its national convention, often inviting liberal speakers or jurists to participate in panels. Invariably, they come away impressed with the openness and depth of thought, and this makes it easier for conservative lawyers and juris to advance their ideas.
And the whole thing was started just 40 years ago by a few conservative Ivy League law students sick of liberal orthodoxy. Pretty incredible.

Soros does not give away money. He invests it with the plan that he will get a nice return in the future.
To: JoSixChip
SCOTUS aside, the Federalist Society isn’t what I would call strong on Constitutional originalism.
Wait and see what they actually DO with the money.

Trump’s picks are not among the top two presently on the court—but that he, at least for the moment, has his third best pick in the top 5, and that the bottom of the top five is good enough to get things done that have needed to happen for a long time is tremendous.
Trump seems to be a mixed bag in talent evaluation, but if this is the guy who did the Supreme Court picks, he seems more trust worthy and better at evaluation talent than most.
An honest politician is one who, when bought, stays bought. And the best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep. (We are called to hope, but the world mostly gives grounds for despair).

His SCOTUS picks gave us the overturning of Roe.
So they corrected a bad ruling even RBG said was wrong. The damage they did to this country in 2020 can not be overstated, it may have been the death blow.
