Bingo. The FBI sees fear and loathing from the people they fear and loathe as a bias confirming feature.
Why would the fbi want the people to think it’s a nice, principled law enforcement that only goes after the bad guys?
Why not let the folks know that it is a corrupt agency of control and repression? The compliance will be easier to obtain.

Like other things they’ve done — entrapping normal Americans with false flag events, false imprisonment, etc. — now people understand that it can happen to any of us.

If they can’t, maybe they can de-fund 100% of the FBI and/or DOJ budget.
Basically yea. Passed by the House and Senate and not vetoed by the POTUS.
But, there re alternatives. The budgetary process could wipe them out. As could the direction of the Attorney General.

Impeachment by the House is relatively easy - simple majority. Thanks to Rat overuse it’s nothing more then name calling. If it’s done to shame or make a moral statement. A) Rats aren’t capable of shame so it will mean nothing to them. & B) The public probably won’t view it positively.
They don’t care. That’s what they were going for. The more people who think they’re Gestapo, the faster they will fall in to line and STFU.
