Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich explained why he believes Pennsylvania voters will not turn out for Senate candidate John Fetterman in this November’s midterm elections...

NEWT GINGRICH: Fetterman is not only the most radical Democratic nominee for the Senate in the entire country, but let’s be clear. Fetterman’s policies on crime, which have been consistently to release violent criminals in places like Philadelphia, which is having a huge explosion in murders and robberies and rapes. Fetterman is going to, I think, perform far worse than a normal Democrat because he’s so clearly pro-criminal.

In the western part of the state, which is the fourth largest energy producer in the United States, Fetterman’s policies against natural gas would in fact kill about 600,000 jobs. I think Mehmet Oz’s job is pretty straightforward. Make clear to the people of Pennsylvania how radical Fetterman is, how much he would kill their economy, and how clearly Mehmet Oz would work in every single county in the state to create jobs, to create public safety, and to give people a better future.

Let me point out, I was born in Harrisburg. I have relatives all across central Pennsylvania. I think I’ve got a pretty good sense of the state. I do not believe in the end that Fetterman will win because I think that he is not just radical; he is destructive of the state of Pennsylvania. We would be a much poorer state if Fetterman wins. We’d be a much more dangerous state with criminals let loose if Fetterman wins. And I think Pennsylvanians aren’t going to vote for that kind of policy.

MASTROIANO - US Army Colonel retired. Two wars. Command experience. PhD. Eloquent. Historian. Constitutionalist. Devout Bible-Believing Christian. Point man in PA Senate for resisting Governor of PA’s monkeying with PA election laws in run ups in PA 2020 “election.” In Western PA the Mastroiano yard signs are 50:1 for “Lurch the Commie in a Hoodie” Fetterman. The Philadelphia and Harrisburg corrupt machines hate Fetterman. Since the enemy of my enemy is my friend, Srednik’s vote goes to Doug Mastroiano.

DR OZMANZUS THE DUAL US/TURKISH CITIZEN - “Hold your schnoz and vote for Oz.” The alternative is the Sorros-sponsored rigger of the vote in PA, Shapiro.

Can they win? A fair election, yes. A repeat of 2020, not if the dark side prints more ballots after midnight again.

Fetterman is not just a radical. He’s a full-commie radical.

But here’s the thing. Because of GOP incompetence, the average Pennsylvania voter does not know this. They only see Fetterman as the guy who supposedly saved the town of Braddock when he was mayor.

And they see Oz as a weird carpetbagger who knows nothing about the state.

Things might change tomorrow. But as of now, Gingrich is very wrong. Fetterman will win Pennsylvania. And he will do so by a comfortable margin.

They showed up for Trump, they will not show up for OZ. Trying to presume the transitive property from Trump to Oz is laughable.

When Trump introduced OZ at his Erie rally, OZ was booed openly by a good part of the crowd…. If you think Trump backing OZ means the folks who backed Trump, and showing up for him are all going to show up and back OZ is laughable.

The set of people in PA who will show up to vote for Trump is vastly bigger than the folks who will show up for OZ even if Trump is supporting him.

The disenfranchised folks who Trump brought to the table aren’t showing up for a WEF connected, gun control is a health care issue, trans kid proponent named OZ. Those folks are MAGA and they all know OZ is not MAGA not even close.

OZ is going to crash and burn in the parts of PA a Republican has to not just win, but win BIG to have any shot at winning statewide in PA.. he’s a non starter.

There is reason every poll from anyplace remotely respected has OZ down double digits… he’s a non starter.

He spent more money on his primary than both parties spent on the general election senate race to come away with 31% or so of the GOP vote… he’s a turd… his campaign is stillborn and it’s not going to change.

Even with a solid candidate a statewide win in PA for a Republican is no easy task, OZ isn’t a solid candidate… he’s a phony and a fraud, and inauthentic as hell.. he has zero shot at winning statewide.

If he were running for some purple congressional seat out around Philly or NJ border area of PA he’d likely win comfortably, but statewide as a Republican?? Not a chance in hell.

If he winds up losing by less than 5 points it will be an absolute miracle.

No, he picked Oz simply because Melania was a fan. Nothing more.

Dr. Oz has a fan at Mar-a-Lago: Melania Trump

Then you are living in a state of self denial.

OZ cannot win statewide in PA. This seat was lost the minute he became the nominee.

MCCormick with a red wave at his back might have won.

Barnett was the actual MAGA candidate in the race.. and the establishment went after her harder than they have gone after any democrat ever at the end when she surged and actually became a threat.

OZ has no viable path to win statewide in PA… utterly off brand, inauthentic and holds RINO positions on many issues… he won’t even make the race competitive.

Folks are welcome to be self delusional, but that won’t change reality.

This Seat is out of play, thanks to a horrible candidate.. Trump got played endorsing this turd… if he loses by under 5 points it will be a miracle.

You shouldn’t be astounded by the stupidity of OZ’s ads. He’s a clueless (censored). He and his team have absolutely no clue what it takes to win statewide in PA. They are running a statewide campaign as though PA was simply the Philly/Jersey border region.

The playbook they are working from is from the Bush Era… if I just do better than typical GOP in Philly area I can win because those fly over T rubes will show up no matter what and pull the lever for the R….

This guy is incompetent, off brand and inauthentic.

Fetterman is going to outperform the average D in the T, while OZ is going to crash and burn there… no GOP voters won’t cross over for Fetterman, but a good bit of them won’t show up to vote for OZ. Meanwhile Fetterman while a leftist, is sincere about his left wing views… and the low info voters will take authenticity over inauthentic every time. Don’t agree with Fetterman’s politics at all, but have met him a few times and anyone thinking you are going to stand OZ up next to Fetterman out in places like Tionesta, Legioner, Reading, etc and OZ is going to even perform as well as an average Republican there, they are deluding themselves.

I know we both agree OZ can’t win, but you really shouldn’t be surprised how bad OZ’s campaign is doing, they have absolutely no clue what it takes to win Statewide in PA as a Republican… what little they do know comes from a 20 year old and outdated playbook…. Trump changed the game… T voters aren’t going to just show up and pull the lever for any R thrown their way.. that era is done.

I’ve met Fetterman too. For exercise I was walking around a shopping center parking lot near Braddock. And by golly there’s John Fetterman walking alone in the opposite direction. We stopped and exchanged a few pleasantries.

He seemed like a very nice guy. But then again Hitler could be charming when he wanted to.

People in rural Pa are committing suicide if they don't vote for Oz. There is no way Oz would be as bad as Fetterman.

Your personal opinion is one I do not share. Your efforts to poison the FR vote in PA will fail.

See you in November.

I’ve seen him in action. Folks here in FR who claim he’s not a serious candidate are deluding themselves. He is a presence in any room he enters, folks on here who listen to flappy heading pundits and RNC talking points that he’s some push over or lightweight politically are being snookered.

The sheer volume of utter ignorance of PA politics being espoused by right wing pundits in nyc and dc etc is mind blowing.

I’ll be glad when the election is over, because I’m tired of being attacked by folks who think Hannity et Al are telling them anything remotely accurate about PA politics or this senate race.

I agree with that 100%. But that’s not what the Oz ads are saying. They are instead painting Oz as some sort of outsider. Well, Fetterman is an outsider, too. And Fetterman sure looks the part more than Oz does.

As I noted elsewhere, I am astounded by how bad the Oz ads are.

“And Braddock is a depressed town, much as rural Pennsylvania is.”

Nope. As someone who lives less than 30 minutes drive from Braddock, I can assure you that Braddock is as economically distressed as it was prior to Fetterman’s ineffective mayorship, and far worse than rural PA.

“ That’s not campaigning for Fetterman, that’s telling you the truth…”

Your “truth” is not THE truth. It’s an opinion based on….not much.
