I just buy the BH meats and make the sammiches myself. Oh, and fortunately, I can get Boars Head meats at my local grocery. It’s just the rest of the stuff that I like at Publix. The stores are generally clean and well organized, and I might even say...cheerful. Plus they offer many things I don’t get to find in the Midwest. Southern stuff. I miss Southern stuff.
I will be looking to see if I can find Merita bread there this time. I discovered it in a TN Publix in June, and that is something from my childhood. It might not be good for me all the time, but it brings back great memories. I’m hoping they will have it at the location in Ft. Walton.
Something about that white sand and emerald (sometimes turquoise) waters, right?
Nothing wrong with a white bread sammich every once in a while.

Well, now, it appears that Florida Man has a weather machine!
It did not survive hitting the beach. Sometimes they come ashore. Often they weaken in the shallowing water and break up on the beach. 30 years ago I watched a small one pick up a man in a beach lounge chair and put him down a hundred or so feet away. The chair which came down away from him was mangled. He sat up, looked around and got up and walked away. I didn’t hear what he had to say because I was not close.

Yeah, seen em pick up beach umbrellas up into sky and thrown away out into water, I retired here on the coast in Destin, we get weather, lol
