Otero County Commissioners just voted to ban voting machines, end drop boxes, and hand count ballots!

So two of the three county commissioners voted to stop using voting machines, end drop boxes, and hand count all ballots. The one commissioner opposed stated that he feared getting arrested if he voted for the motion. More counties nationwide need to do this. This is a small step in the right direction, and hopefully starts a domino effect.

Apparently that county had some real issues in an election back in June.

This would be wonderful if this were the first domino to fall.

The county lawyer told them because there was an administrative rule about drop boxes, they were obligated to provide and ignored the fact that the rule is not found in any statute.

And that’s where the, just as corrupt as the people in DC, county GOP and county Chambers of Commerce spring from. They’re just as dirty and corrupt as any in DC.

If he gets arrested if he votes the wrong way, that renders that voting process into a meaningless farce.

There are 68,000 people in Otero County, NM. That is a small County. There is not a one size fits all solution. But this will be interesting to watch.

Well, I hope this ‘takes’. Last time they rocked the boat, they got slapped down by the powers that be.

But at least they are trying to get honest elections, which is more than I can say for most of the rest of the nation.

Here is the article from Gateway Pundit. Also Gateway Pundit had a connection last night for the public to watch the hearing with the facts were presented and it looks like the Michigan Supreme Court race in 2020 was flipped.

Our county is back to fill in the circle paper ballots, thank goodness.
You do have to run them thru a machine to show they were “accepted”.

But still: paper trail started.
