A friend in my Sherlock Holmes scion society (famous writer Loren Estleman) had an opportunity to have a brief audience with the Dalai Lama in the 1970s. We asked him what he said to the at that time difficult to meet celebrity.
“I said, Well, hello Dalai.”
Yeah, and Thomas Merton, a Trappist monk, also said that communism was a perfect system ... which could only work in a monastery.
Since the DL has been a monk since he was four years old his view of political systems might be a bit conditioned by that.
In any case I don’t see what that has to do with pricks like 0bummer and Hochul and how they view us, their supposed fellow countrymen.
