The article doesn’t say Taiwan is independent, it says Taiwan is FUNCTIONALLY independent.
Her trip to Taiwan must have been to give them the message don’t fight China they owns us just go along with the plan.
If China were to pick a war with the US they would lose their largest customer and over a trillion$ a year. Their economy would collapse. Yes, Newt is right, it is a bluff...
Read later.
I hope you (and he) are right!
I hope you (and he) are right!
And he thinks Pelosi wasn’t posturing?
Newt had a “deal” with China, Nancy had nothing but alcohol breath. Newt should shut up, this needs no further discussion, it was a self aggrandizing lame duck junket.
If Goodreads revealed that truth they would be doxxed, shadowbanned and canceled.
All good points. A wise post that people should have heeded long ago. Once greedy union labor in the US cost so much the capitalist narcissists uprooted our sources practically anything electronic or even manufactured, America became totally dependent on the outside world. One element such as foreign made chips can shut down assembly lines and auto sales all over the world. Same with rare metals or whatever they call them, found in certain places only but necessary to tech.
RE: China doesn’t bluff....
They are unashamedly imperialistic (and use that term to insult others) and thoroughly racist (only their race counts and others should be enslaved or annihilated) plus stubborn and uncompromising.
When I make these claims they are backed up by the really low level of diversity in China, unlike the US and the West.
Photo caption for two speakers on a couch.....
Newt: “I won’t tell you were the one who passed gas. Notice the guy took the photo and then ran out of the room?”
