According to Gizmodo Hawaii uses more oil for electricity than any other state. In 2015, more than 67% of its electricity generation came from oil, while more than 15% came from coal. These fossil fuels are all imported from out of state, helping to make Hawaii’s electricity costs the highest in the country and nearly three times the national average.
This will be an interesting experiment that we all on the mainland can watch.

You’d think with all the volcanic activity there that Hawaii would be harvesting geothermal power.

And the idiots on Big Island have an entire department to maintain the stupid windmills that produce no energy just so they can say, “We use green energy.”
And good luck Oahu. There is not enough land mass to install enough solar panels to run that state. And fun fact. If there is ever a fire in one of the tunnels, Like Like, there is not enough power to run the fans without shutting down the southern Oahu grid.

the replacement technology is Solar and Wind stored in batteries. All made in china with materials primarily produced in china. Ultimately, Hawaii will be sold to china if the biden pattern continues.
