As long as the population centers control the narrative and outnumber rural voters, rural voters will lose. Mrs rktman's solution----on county, one vote. If a measure wins in one county then it gets 1 vote. And reverse. Hey, at least it would make the demokkkommies have to cheat harder out in the boonies.

It’s unconstitutional. The US Constitution trumps federal, state and local laws. These morons need to learn what the words, “shall not infringe” mean and the STFU.

In my research on MASS, it seems that they require a permit to purchase a gun.

Do they, are that much different from Oregon’s proposal?

Have the signatures been validated?

With voting having become a laughing stock, these days, it seems that “signature lists” would be child’s play to fabricate...

Likely unconstitutional but Portland owns Oregon unfortunately.

I guess I’d better renew my Oregon non-resident CCW soon.

Constitutionally protected rights are not decided by majority votes. That is the purpose of the constitution- to protect the God given rights of all from government and idiot ignorant majorities.

An applicant for Voter Registration Card would be required to complete an approved course on the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights, pay a fee, provide personal information, submit to fingerprinting and photographing and pass a criminal background check.

Let’s run with this.

Unconstitutional

You do not require a permit from the government to exercise your constitutional rights.
