Americans are yearning to see an old-school heterosexual movie with heterosexual heros.

Tom Cruise next movie will have him strapped to the outside of the new ‘Starship’ rocket going after the bad guy inside. He will have a sidekick next to him named WALL-E..... : )

One of the best movies I’ve seen in a while. Actually went and saw it at the theatre....was everything it was hyped up to be..no pc crap, great blend of plot and action.

After sitting through preview after horrible preview and a bunch of LGBWhatever crap advertisements, it was refreshing just to have Cruise come on the screen with the simple message, “We made this movie for you.”

Other than the ridiculous casting, it was a great movie. Lots and lots of scenes with fighter planes performing cool stunts.

I didn’t really care for Elvis and Tom Hanks looks like a pasty Colonel What’s-His-Name. Do you think I would like it anyway?

We all have our own opinion of things....to me it was an accurate portrayal of Elvis.

I get the impression that he didn’t really care for the star Elvis and was asking about the movie.

I think he might like it. Only thing I didn’t like was them overplaying the race/political angles of the times.

I know nothing of you taste in movies but I really liked it. I forget the actors name who played Elvis but he was good....I thought Tom Hanks did a good job as Col. Parker. Actually I was half way through the movie before I realized it was Hanks!!!

I liked the music and how it encapsulated his life. I thought Hanks was a good Colonel Parker. They didn’t have the role as portraying Parker as a total sleezebag as many of us remember.

I heard the character in the movie doesn’t do much singing. Are his songs part of the soundtrack?

Also, did the movie embrace his Christian upbringing which kind of stayed with him? (I think he had received Jesus as a youngster and was a Christian although what some might call him a “carnal Christian”.)
