Perhaps Cheney doesn't want to win.....she's getting more traction on investigative committees than anything else she's done politically.....likely has a backup plan already in place.

Well for Cheney it’s all about stopping Trump - not winning her own election. She’s the new Hillary.

Not quite - Murkowksi ran as a Republican write-in. The way the laws were at the time in Alaska, she could still run as a Republican even though she had lost the primary, though she was not on the ballot and had to run as a write-in. Now she gets RCV - switching to RCV is essentially “The Murkowski Protection Act.”
