I’m with you. I don’t like cops looking like soldiers either. And cops are not friends to conservatives. If the left gets some nutty legislation through in the future to persecute it’s enemies, the cops are the tool. If you doubt me I can prove my point immediately. Get your wife or gf mad enough at you to make a false domestic violence charge against you. And watch how fast those cops arrest you and put you in jail. There is zero presumption of innocence there.
