He also said he would not sign legislation banning women from traveling to other states to get an abortion

You can't ban that anyway.

I don’t see how you can say to some woman, sorry, you got preggers in this State so now you are a prisoner here until you have the baby. I think that if the legislature of a State wants to ban the murder of the innocent unborn in that State, great. But trying to stop or criminalize it if someone chooses to travel out of State to murder their child, how can you stop that short of locking them up?

I’ve noticed that the Huckabees have tried to avoid conflict with Hutchinson, who believe it or not was once considered a reliable conservative.

Sorry ASA, you aren’t going anywhere with Republican primary voters. And everyone wants to know if you are related to that woman also named Hutchinson.

How do you legally do that?

Very simply, you can’t. People have the right to freely travel between states.

Where do they think we are, Canada?

There are some people calling for those travel bans, which I believe are both unconstitutional and offensive.

Such a ban is not only unconstitutional but an affront to everyone's freedom. If travel bans are allowed for one thing, we'll end up with bans on going across state lines to buy gasoline, or to buy ammunition, or to go hunting, or to do 1000 other things the government would love to regulate.

Assa couldn’t get elected assistant codpiece cleaner. I didn’t vote for him four years ago and will never vote for him again.

But the same folks shilling for Sarah were also the ones who gave us Assa. A LOT of us thought he was just another professional officeholder (which he is). Sarah isn’t qualified to be governor. Presidential spokesperson: yes, but SHE’S NEVER DONE ANYTHING outside of Trump’s staff and the EEE women’s social club at OBU. And his endorsement isn’t worth a pitcher of hot piss. Remember all the RINOs and backstabbers he foisted off on us? I’ll gladly vote for Trump in two years, but his endorsement isn’t enough to guarantee a good candidate (or officeholder). He just doesn’t seem to have the ability to distinguish good eggs from stinkers.

Sarah is just the kind of unvetted candidate who gets crowned without being tested and ends up stabbing us in the back. Not that she’d notice, but she probably won’t be getting the votes of some of Trump’s strongest supporters in Arkansas this November.

She’ll be our next governor, no doubt about it. I just hope that I will be happily proven wrong about her performance in office.

@@@@@@

35 years ago I moved to Arkansas with the military. A solid Democrat one party state. Walmart and Tyson brought capitalists to northern Arkansas and Republicans started to rise. Dems who were outside the clique turned “Republican” and ran as mods or “conservative” pubbies.

Asa is simply showing his true colors (hidden until his lame duck last election). DS or RINO, the smell always comes out in the end.

WWG1WGA!
