That is the most important matter brought before the court, and the justices lack the integrity, courage, and moral clarity to demand the truth and rule on it--whatever the truth might be.
This is an enormous failure of duty, responsibility, courage, integrity, honesty, and fundamental morality.
This is an enormous failure of the USA, the American People, the Supreme Court, and the justices themselves.
Furthermore, leaving this matter unsettled not only subjects the American People to the catastrophic effects of uncertainty and loss of confidence in America's once pristine and uncorrupted institutions and agencies, but it leaves an open invitation to massive, well co-ordinated fraud in future elections inasmuch as those willing to commit fraud can expect no deterrent from the Court!
This is an extremely dangerous situation.
Unless the justices act promptly to correct it, theirs will be one of the greatest failures of responsibility and integrity in history. May God forgive them!

Sotomayor’s dissent strongly suggests that Christian employees of public schools must basically hide their faith and live in the closet because knowledge of their Christian faith might somehow be upsetting to some students. But she would say that gays are free to proselytize right in the classroom, even with young children.
I recall a story a priest told EWTN not so long ago. He knew a brother in a monastic order in Italy. This was in the 70 or 80’s. This is the TOPIC that REALLY needs addressed, Roe being struck down is great, but the other rulings by the activist court of this era, REALLY NEED GONE.
Religious activities in public places are NOT “state sponsorship of religion” and the rulings that started this nonsense need gone.

Yep. I met him back in 2004 when I was a campaign manager for a state house rep. McKenna made and continues to make my skin crawl.
In the meanwhile, the Court will need to continue to decide constitutionally enumerated protection cases on a case by case basis. After all, very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification, career lawmakers have been spending their time exploiting low-information voters by making constitutionally indefensible race and sex-related civil rights laws (imo) to win votes to stay in office, as opposed to making 14th Amendment-based civil rights laws that strengthen constitutionally enumerated rights from abridgment by state actors.

I can’t tell you how much flak I took over my refusal to support or vote for McKenna when he ran for governor. When the time came for him to take a stand on homos getting “married” he weaseled his way around the issue.
By taking a stand of my own I effectively walked away from over ten years as a volunteer for various local, state, and national campaigns. It’s kinda hard to work with people ( the local and state Republican party) when they refuse to work with me.
