Hopefully, I’ll find me a farmer’s market or neighbor who can slip me some actual nutritious veggies in exchange for some TP or whatever he may be short on.
“Something doesn’t seem right here. A quick review of agriculture threads seems to indicate that a 300hp tractor pulling a 24 row planter uses about 13 gallons per hour and plants about 30 acres per hour.”
Now you have done it. You cannot bring math or science to a political website. Most here are just as bad as the Orange man bad types who just close their eyes and scream corn pop bad! poopy pants bad. Without ever doing any real reading comprehension skills at all and frankly I believe a good portion here are actually innumerate at the clinical level. Not that mush head is good at anything other than taking his 10%; at least have a firm argument with proof to stand on so the right doesn’t look like a bunch of redneck morons screaming the equivalent of Orange man bad.
You numbers actually are high here is two solid sources for diesel use per acre which is surprisingly efficient given tractors have ballooned in size since the 1960s where a large tractor had 50hp and no giant enclosed A.C. Cooled Cab nor GPS guidance. Farming was even more efficient before the era of giant corporate farming machines.
