Vela had announced he was not going to run for reelection, But suddenly Vela just abandoned ship and went to go work for Akin Gump, one of the largest lobbying firms in DC.

I do think what we are seeing is the Hispanic vote basically aligning with the White vote. Urban voters will still be Rat, but in the suburbs are more rural areas they will go Republican.
