No, Putin has made clear with his rhetoric about Ukraine belonging to Russia that his intent is to conquer all of Ukraine. And then Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Romania, etc.
You just don’t ever make peace with dictators and you don’t waste time trying to appease them when they go on wars of conquest. You kill them. You exterminate them. You kill their friends. You kill their bankers. You kill their generals. You kill their families lest one of them try to restore what the dictator lost.
You don’t rest until the bastards are vanquished and begging you to let them surrender. That’s how we crushed Germany and Japan and sooner or later that’s what we will have to do unless Russia chooses a new course.
But giving the criminals what they want is only going to cause the bastards to come back for more.
