I think he is right in a sense. Ukraine lost more equipment by this time than probably half of the rest of Europe possesses. Insiders in their military are putting the combined KIA and MIA numbers at 110-115,000.

Isn’t this area supposedly in 97% Russian control? Yes, except for the 10,000-15,000 surrounded Ukrainian Army troops with no air support, no transport and no way out.
But they have wonderful entrenchments, built over the last 8 years, since 2014.
