Even when I was forced to, such as on a train or in a doctor office, I would often pull it down to get fresh air.

Even today, we are still seeing TOO MANY people wearing masks while driving alone in the car, walking or biking alone, and even inside their homes. Makes me wonder if they wear them while sleeping or showering. Stupid.

On Monday, Jewel Food Stores in Chicago, part of the Albertson’s chain reinstated the Mask Mandate for all employees and put up signs “strongly encouraging” customers to wear masks while shopping.

I live in downstate Illinois and had that happen a few weeks ago. Our county jumped into the high transmission level and several stores I shop at had their employees wearing masks. As soon as the transmission level fell to medium masks were again optional for employees. I think it is just the corporations following CDC guidelines..

During the height of it all in 2020, I saw that a lot. People wearing masks outside when there weren’t any people anywhere near them or while driving alone in their cars.

I only see the occasional mask now and on my last couple of grocery shopping trips, I saw no masks, not even on staff.

The very few masks I do see these days almost always seem to have angry eyes above them.
