Those are the questions many of us want answered.
But even if the answer is that no additional lives were lost as a result of the Chief’s decision (best case for him) it doesn’t make things any better for him IMO. Because this would be based on hindsight analysis.
At the time there was no way for anyone to really know that the delay was not going to cost lives. He could have taken out the whole school in that amount of time.

Even though he was elected to that position, he will not last. There will not be one peaceful city council meeting. Arredondo will be lucky if he can continue to live in peace in Texas.
Looking at him. If it was a donut shop instead of school, the SWAT team would been in full action mode.
It seems there is not a lick of common sense down there.
Until the 1960s, Hispanics in Texas were registered as White on their birth certificates.

If ya shoot up nearly 2 dozen people, anyone capable of critical thought would understand it’s very likely there were survivors bleeding out and needing immediate medical attention.
