Pretty sure they don’t quite understand the demographic they’re talking about. Sadly, still way too many parents have bought into the dizzknee thing and won’t be swayed to stay away.
Las Vegas isn’t what it once was. These days, VEGAS IS A DUMP, IMHO. Illegal aliens line the sidewalks handing out porn flyers which all end up littering the sidewalks. What a joke.
A host of people want a real beach and ocean. Not some fake creation outside a hotel and casino in a landloked state.
Not picking on Nevada, but it is not able to provide the same as Florida regarding tourism.
Lets face it, many will be staying home because they won’t be able to afford vacations.
(This would be a Win-Win for both Nevada and Florida, wouldn't it?)
So families are going to want to travel to Las Vegas in the Summer? I don’t think so. It’s also too close to Disneyland in LA. They have just 2 locations in the US. Florida is less than 2 days’ driving time from over 50% of the US population. It is also the only state on the eastern seaboard that can operate a theme park 360+ days a year.
certifiably insane… certifiably insane… certifiably insane… certifiably insane…
Like broken records, for those old enough to remember vinyls
Beyond hyperbole and just straight-up lying to their dopey readers.
Yeah, there’s a convoy of UHauls on I75 right now of people fleeing FL with their kids🙄/s
Yeah, people who can't afford child sex junkets to Thailand.
“There is a kind of tourist who goes to Vegas.”
Yes, and typically that tourist is not a family with two kids between 7 and 14.
That is unless you like your kids being handed hooker cards on the strip from the illegals who stand on every corner.
Are they the same type that go to Thailand?
Hard to believe for some apparently, but there are a lot of decent things in Vegas. We’re driving down there in a couple of weeks for an in between birthday/anniversary celebration. Plus I found a place that does open mike/jam sessions so we’ll be taking some gear with us to play some music. LOL! Limited sinning and no seeking perverse outlets. I know it ain’t everybody’s cup of tea. It may have been better when the mob ran it all. :>}
Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Sun should worry more about Deep Swamp Hotel Shooters and less about the employment comfort of Pederasts.
Vegas tourism can be shut off like a light switch.
Las Vegas used to be cheap and fun, but last time I went in 2007 or so it was starting to get obscenely expensive for everything. Same as Disney. Their ‘resort fees’ and charging for hotel parking is insane.
It might be new Sodom, but the old Sodom is on the eats coast.
Vegas has always been know as sin city, at least they admit it. Unlike Washington DC which is the most sordid cesspool in the world.
I actually hope Putin would plant one right on top of that pile of sh#t.
I thought that was the “fall-out” per the title:
-people hear that Disney (which is HUGE) opposes the FL law, so they cancel their DISNEY plans
-people go somewhere else, possibly not in FL
So, not sure why so gleeful and scornful of Desantis’ law.
Are they saying people will go elsewhere because “FL is mean!”?
(Indeed, did not read beyond excerpt.)
“What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.”
Hahaha. What a great tagline.
What stupidity.
The Editorial Staff believes people will boycott Florida for not believing it is appropriate to have sexually explicit conversations with kindergartners?
