I saw an article awhile back that said they had cracked that. They had built some contraption that could extract energy from heat in a new way.
With as much we taxpayers are being scammed for “green renewable” energy I am sure you can find some bureaucrat to pump billions in to the technology. Look how gaga the idiots went with the “free energy perpetual motion” kid. They put this boy on the speaking circuit at colleges and gave him a top speaking gig at the liberals’ beloved TED Talks.

This is very good news but …
No quantum PC in our future. The cryogenic requirement would rule that out if nothing else did.
I question the energy savings. It takes a lot of energy to cool to liquid nitrogen temperature (77 degrees K) and even more for the liquid helium cooling they are probably using now.
But good news nevertheless.
