Used to love 501’s when I was a teen and in my 20’s. They made some kind of change to them around that time and I really haven’t had Levi’s since.
Jeans quality suck.
But I found a good qaulity in Cintas 394 house brand...these jeans are meant to be rented out...means they should hold up better and they do.
I noticed in the other brands that the right side upper left corner of the pocket would come apart, maybe becasue how I sit, and the belt loops would go.
I have a beautiful Levi’s jacket that I bought 38 years ago. It’s in excellent condition and I get compliments every time I wear it. It was made in the USA. I bought my first pair of 501s in 1966. They were so stiff, you literally had to wash them like 50 times before you could wear them. I haven’t bought any of their stuff in 20 years. It had nothing to do with politics. It just isn’t the same quality anymore.
Well, dammmit - I’ve been wearing 501s for over 50 years.
Not only that, their jeans are not what they used to be.
The only jeans I own now are PRISON BLUES, they are good tough work jeans made by inmates at Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton Oregon.
It gives the convicts a job inside with a decent wage and the chance to acquire some life skills.

Have been a no buy for Levis for many years. Their location should have tipped you off.
Don’t own any and won’t own any.
Its list time america, stick to it
