It’s surprising, but they seem to have more control than Nazi Germany. The Germans would publish casualty figures. When the Bismarck went down they admitted how many sailors were lost.
A week out and we still have no idea how many were lost when the Moskva went down.

I have never heard of Vk. but supposedly a pro kremlin media outlet.
I would guess at least the Russian KIA/MIA number, especially if you add it civilians.
Pravda in March: “10,000 dead” .... “Oops, we was hacked”!
VT in April: “13,000 dead, 7,000 missing” .... “Opps, we was hacked”!

I suspect double the Russian casualties. Maybe even higher. But at least they died fighting for their own soil and the sovereignty of their country.
