What makes it particularly unfortunate is that there is such a cross section of life here. Everything from stay at home moms to corporate bigwigs. People with highly pedigreed educations to basic educated people who made it through hard work and determination.
We have posters whose ancestors came over when the land still belonged to the English crown alongside legitimate immigrants from all over the world.
And EVERYONE has a story worth telling.
Everyone has rubbed shoulders with people great and small. Everyone’s story is interesting to someone.
If you ever get around to writing those stories down, let me know where to find them.
Absolutely, so much great knowledge, personal experience, and skills that could be shared and documented before it is all lost to time. Have chores to go do but will catch up more later. I would love to hear your own shared stories also! And I actually do know of a place... :)
