I kept my horse at the stable on Cathedral Avenue. When I wasn’t in school I was riding Fairmount Park with my friends or alone. I got to be good friends with all the mounted police, which was a big priority in Rizzo’s policing strategies. Rizzo loved the horses. Nothing takes the hostility out of a crowd like a line of cops on horseback. I really don’t know why? But it works.

Philly is more black than white now. There will never be a Republican politician in Philly ever again.
Demographics is destiny. >>>>> more than i thot but not quite the majority. and they don’t vote in as high percentages as whites. WHite communists add to the 80% democrat vote.

Non-Hispanic Black people make up 32% of Philadelphia’s population, and 44% when including Hispanic Black people. The native Black population represents the vast majority of Black Americans in the city and about 39% of the citywide population.
