Snd tje leftist globalists and the rightist perpetual warists have hated Russia for ditching communism. The former took offense that Russia wanted and was no longer a co-religionist. The latter because they never got their hands on a vast country to geo-form. And now these two extremes are united. Sleep with dogs you wake up with fleas

So the CIA director snuck a whole bunch of Nazi’s into the Soviet Union at the end of WWII? Everyone knows thats false because it was Elvis and Santa Claus who did that.
Ukraine has neo-Nazis in powerful positions. That is a well-documented fact. And Azov is their government-backed armed group. “But Zelensky is a Jew” does not refute these facts.

Most of the Pooty’s here mimic the FSB talking points to a tee. Their never ending praising Russia and bashing the US reminds me of one of Reagan’s jokes:

Leftists are almost universally fascists nowadays. They’ve pretty much given up on communism.

But every Filipino or other native of that town will back the Japanese vs the Chinese today. The people have forgiven the Japanese.
Your attitude re Ukrainians is incomprehensible.

I think all organizations that were ever associated with communism should be banned also, but that would mean most universities around the world would be destroyed. So I am not going to get my way because it is absurd. And so are you.

It has been clear for a long time that the Russian set of problems wasnt entirely about communism. Richard Pipes made this point long ago, in his “Russia Under the Old Regime”, which is highly recommended. Do the work, do the reading, people. Dont be lazy.

And they - and their children and grandchildren - lived in peace during the Soviet regime all those years? Went to Soviet schools, served their time in the Soviet military, but were totally unmolested by the Soviet state?

You say the men in the picture are Russian Nazis, but two of them are clearly wearing shirts that have some sort of Nazi slogan in German. I can see a picture of a skull and a word or two in German, in the old Fraktur font (most of the words are obscured). I’m guessing it says in part “toten kopf” and “heisst Treu” - not exactly Russian words. I guess any Russian Nazis could wear such a shirt. There are unsavory characters in many countries, including neo-Nazis.
At the outset of the war there were maybe 300-350 of them. now, much fewer. They are surrounded on three sides by the Russian 8th Army and their backs are to the Sea of Azov. They are militarily insignificant. But seem to have gained new life as a whipping boy on FR.
Red Stone Arsenal is about 20 miles straight ENE from me. I’m guessing they’ve been targeted with a strategic nuke of say 350KT, but knowing the Russians think bigger is better...prolly more like .5MT

Their nuclear plan, released 50 years ago, basically makes the US a giant fireball from ground up several miles, with staggered bursts in sine wave fashion - high and then low. Won’t matter where you hide as O2 will be burned off.
