Ukraine ping

A voice in the wilderness, but a gutsy move from a kid who will likely suffer consequences when he returns to China.

I too have had my Facebook account suspended for decrying and condemning Russian Army war crimes in Ukraine . They call it ‘ hate speech’ to mention the Russian murderers. Appeals about the ban are rejected. Even though in the days following a vast number of clear and detailed reports are flooding worldwide media showing the extent to which Russian depravities have gone .

Putin banned Facebook in Russia early on. I have to wonder if , now, Facebook has a secret, tacit agreement to suppress Russia critical commentary among Facebook users?

Could it be that the big Z on many Russian vehicles could stand for Zuckerberg?

May the truth come out .

We know Google answers to the Chinese. If China is helping manage Russia’s PR, banning anti Russia messaging on YouTube would make sense. There is no Facebook in China, so Facebook could only be doing this for Russia. Maybe the agreement was if Facebook wanted to return to postwar Russia they would have to block any negative coverage of Russia during the war.

Has anyone else been banned for criticizing Russian Army war crimes on Facebook? I’d like to know.

I took my case to the Oversight Board.
Accepted, but no decision.

Facebook needs to really take a look at what they are doing.
They are coming down on the Russian war criminals.

People will not forget!

Very impressive. The reach of Chairman Ze is long indeed. This fellow should not even think about returning to Han land, or here either considering Peking owns K Street who owns America.

Nothing like having FSB/GRU/MSS/CIA all hunting you down...

It’s quite the rush -

He knows he is going to be hunted now.

Perhaps fb and yt realized that what started as vodka dumping was turning into a dangerous frenzy for innocent Russians. The way people were behaving in opposition towards anything Russian was similar to the pro-mask lunatics. It was getting weird and dangerous.

So did the Russians kill the citizens after they fed them. Because there are boxes of Russian humanitarian supplies among the bodies.

“Could it be that the big Z on many Russian vehicles could stand for Zuckerberg”

I hear the Z is going to be changed to a ZUCK on the Russkie tanks and troop carriers that Zuckerberg sponsors and pays for.

And this is what happens when you allow mass communications companies the ability to censor things which are objectionable to powerful governments.

The "private" business becomes the Government's proxy and will impose the governments' will while pretending it is their own.

So far as i'm concerned, "private" censorship of public communications is a violation of the 1rst amendment. Should be punishable by prison time for violators.

You Tube is controlled by the CCP?

Yes. Or any other government in the world with a big enough market to threaten them.

This is why it should be *ILLEGAL* to censor public communications. Some government somewhere will twist arms and make it happen so long as it is legal for tech companies to do it.

So you’ve actually seen video evidence that the Russians are the perpetrators of said violence? Because I’ve yet to see it. All I’ve heard in the last 6 weeks is a ridiculous amount of propaganda coming from Ukraine (Ghost of Kiev, Russians shooting at nuclear power plant, Snake Island soldiers standing up to the Russian Army, etc.), and now I require evidence of their allegations before I take them seriously again.
