This is one of the most bizarre wars I’ve ever seen.
No wonder Ukraine is so well-supplied. They make everything for Russia.

Golly gee Wally, I hope we don’t rely on another country for spare parts and end up going to war with them.

More propaganda from the tabloid trash Daily Mail! The Russian defense industry is very spread out across-the-board.

Yet, somehow, the Russians have wiped out the entire Ukrainian air force and navy and just won the most consequential battle to date in Mariupol, the stronghold of the neo-Nazi Azov bastards, the remains of which are holed up in a steel mill waiting to die.
Meanwhile, 60,000 Ukrainian troops are stranded in Donbass, encircled with nowhere to go.

True. I’ve seen a bottle Stolichnaya behind a bar. Caviar, no.

The war is only bizarre if you believe propaganda like this.

All I know is there are not a whole lot of Russians around the capital of Ukraine anymore. So your fake news talking point seems to be getting weaker by the day.

Fake news or not, this should be a lesson for us. Will we learn from it?
Doubtful.

The navy, other than patrol boats, consisted of one ship.
And the air force was, effectively, about three dozen planes, not all flyable. Big whoop. A fine achievement for the Russian air force, 20X bigger.
“The Nazi Azov bastards” are, what, one battalion out of over 500,000 Ukrainians mobilized by now?
Russian-Putinist propaganda would be far more effective if it weren’t so petty and so silly. And so also with Russian foreign policy. Christ, invading Georgia was the height of pettiness. Threatening Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, murdering half the Polish government, poisoning foreign politicians, etc. and etc. Its like Putin wants to destroy goodwill everywhere just because he can. Its extremely stupid.
