We have to destroy Ukraine in order to save it. Biden is using Ukraine as surrogates to destroy Russia and remove Putin. There are long term consequences to entering a new Cold War. A new Iron Curtain is descending in Europe.
What is the end game? Driving Russia into the arms of China? Destruction of the Russian economy affecting the Russian people? Has anyone considered Russian retaliation and its impact on us and the global economy?
Biden constantly talks about the West being more unified than ever. That tells me there is real discord internally. The Germans cannot get off of Russian energy any time soon given the drastic impact on its economy. There are others who depend on Russian wheat and fertilizer. Already there is unhappiness in Europe about high gas prices.
Only a month has elapsed in this war. Most of the sanctions against Russia don’t take place until June. How long will Biden’s coalition last? Most Europeans want the war to end sooner rather than later. They understand the devastation of war. Millions of Ukrainians flood Europe. How long will that last? Who pays for the rebuilding of Ukraine? What is the definition of winning in Ukraine?
Unfortunately, we have been manipulated and let emotion dictate our response. Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 and there has been an 8 year war in Eastern Ukraine. Russian troops were mobilizing on the Ukrainian border since last April. Why have we allowed this crisis to happen?

UN says around 1,200 Ukraine civilians killed. Every death is horrible, but that’s still fewer at this time than NATO killed in the “smart bombing” of Serbia.
