Kabuki.
It’s a Free Vote for anti-MAGA Ditch.
Means nothing.
Don’t fret, Mitch. Pierre Delecto and Susan Collins will provide the margin to put her on SCOTUS.
Probably Sasse, too.
What Democrats do you believe are planning to vote against her?
Irrelevant.
50 dem votes and 3 or 4 RINOs guaranteed (Murkowski, Romney, Collins…).
Three Republicans would give Machin cover to say “No.”
I think she’ll get confirmed. But I did read about how Dems are panicking over this. No one likes child porn or pedophiles, the Ds attempt at mainstreaming this is failing miserably. If she does get confirmed, it’ll be the GOAT of pyrrhic victories.
After her performance than that hearing, there’s absolutely no excuse for a republican to vote to confirm her. Let me know several will.
McConnell needs to get Thune to whip to make all 50 Pubs a no. Then we only need one Dim for No.
The only way McConnell would be talking like this is if he already knew there were enough Republicans ready to vote for her to ensure her confirmation.
What Democrats are you expecting to vote against her?
Exactly what I told my wife...plus Linda Graham.
None. But McConnell wants a token bi-partisan vote for her. I expect the vote will be between 53 and 55 in her favor. Maybe 42 opposed.
Mitch the b$&#% announces this after he’s ordered enough underling Republicans to vote yes for her..
It’s how the game is played in DC, only.. we’re supposed to be too stupid to notice..
Which Democrats do you believe will vote against her?
I don’t know what good that does him either way.
I have a feeling that Midge won’t give any free passes to Mittens Delecto, or others.
Hoping so, anyhow.
This is good news.....hopefully.
No, it would not be. She will be on the bench for life, ruling like she wants to with no consequences for the democrats. Poll after poll shows the public believes the SC is fair and nonpolitical. Yes, we know that is ridiculous, but most people don’t follow politics like we do. I know many who think they care and know what is going on, but they don’t.
That's nice. But is he willing to reject her nomination? I'm sure there are Senate machinations that could at least stall it until after November.
