I think this is a good idea, I bet they could go to the Windsor Castle,, and carve out a room right next to Queen Elizabeth and she could exhibit carefully for all of us to see how this is done! Especially with the Afghans.
When I was last in London, my Grandfather wouldn’t rent out space in his home, because the law required him to take in the first person(s) applying.

Homeowners in the US, this kind of “request”, for illegals, homeless, etc. will become a requirement here in very short order.
This is why we have the Third Amendment. The Brits call them “refugees,” not “soldiers.” But it amounts to the same thing.
The hotels housing them are getting taxpayer kickbacks.

Then we’ll have to build our defense around the Constitution and we look closely at the Third Amendment. It prevents the government from quartering soldiers in people’s homes. I think quartering “refugees” involuntarily amounts to the same thing.

I agree but our government and their foreign handlers don’t give a chunk about the US Constitution.
Forcing it could lead to an unintended consequences: Brits will host neither.

Back in 2013 a group of cops barged into a house in Nevada and basically took it over for nine hours. The cops wanted to use the house to watch for criminal activity at a nearby house. They had no warrant.
The homeowners claimed a Third Amendment violation. They lost because the court ruled that cops aren’t soldiers. (Bad ruling, IMO.)
