Maher is getting tired of the electrolyte-drinking idocracy that he helped create. If you are a leftist and half-way intelligent, these leftists morons HAVE to be getting under your skin, and the equally moronic propaganda machine is equally irksome. I think John Stewart and Dave Chappelle are the same way. Others, like the View members... well, the stupid is strong with them.

Maher dislikes a lot of what today’s Democrats do. For example, a few years ago he was complaining about how high taxes are in CA where he lives.
Why does he remain loyal to the Democrat party? It’s not about policy. He often refers to the Democrats as his “tribe”. He has made disparaging remarks about Christians. He sees the Republican party as the Christian party and the Dems as the non-Christian party. That’s what it’s all about for him.
