Numbers never lie, but liars use numbers. He had to use a first year comparison. If he used Trump’s last year he would look like a fool.
Secondly, his numbers are reasonable in the first part of the last year, because of the same reason, his Executive Orders haven’t been fully implemented. So, he was riding off of Trump’s oil coat-tails.
Well China is by far the biggest importer of Russian oil, and there is nothing Dementia Joe can do about that.

Waiting till November is too long. Wishing there is a quicker solution. The one thing I like about the parliamentary political system over our representative republic is their ability to hold a vote of confidence and if it fails hold snap elections for a new government.
I wonder when the notoriously self-important and pompous Democrats are going to get tired of being associated with this complete failure of an “Administration.”

Interesting to note that we were on a downward slide until Trump was elected and then production went up continually until the pandemic hit... made a short recovery and then dropped again the month Biden was sworn in.

They are playing up the fact that Biden stopped importation, but then let him blame Russia for the high prices. Not even one fact check on when higher prices actually started.
But it won’t matter a bit. Even hard core Democrats in my office are tired of hearing super rich comedians and actors telling them to suck it up, that higher gas prices are patriotic.
In other words, he just admitted that he pumped far less oil than what Donald Trump accomplished.
