US intelligence knows what’s going on. The Russians aren’t going to pull the wool over the eyes of the NSA, DIA and CIA.

The Russians don't have to pull the wool over their eyes.

They're perfectly capable of doing that themselves.

They have missed every single major event for the last 30 years:

a) the end of the Soviet Union;

b) 9/11

c) Iraq's WMD;

d) Bush's "nation building" projects would be utter failures;

e) Putin would invade Georgia and take Crimea;

f) the Afghan army would hold;

g) Putin would actually invade Ukraine despite Western sanctions threats and Blinken running his mouth.

An unparalleled track record of 100% failure.

RE #34 and 37.

Wart Hog defense takes articles they did not write and reads them word for word to military themed videos. If enough copyright holders found out and complained YouTube and Facebook would take them down. The original articles:
How cheap Chinese tires might explain Russia's 'stalled' 40-mile-long military convoy in Ukraine
Ukraine: Why has Russia's 64km convoy near Kyiv stopped moving?

Russia knows their military has problems and included them in the battle plan. The vehicles running out of gas are at the edge of their operating limits and are acceptable losses. To the west, that is a inconceivable waste of hardware and men.

Second, the convoy is not going to Kyiv. Its job is to get the artillery into range of Kyiv and support the encirclement. The convoy is not the threat, what it is supporting is the threat. The convoy itself is kind of a supply depot along a highway more than a convoy.

A supply depot I wish a squadron of A-10s loaded with what anti-tank cluster bombs are still in inventory would visit.

“...I wish a squadron of A-10s loaded with what anti-tank cluster bombs are still in inventory would visit.”

I’d pay to see that one.
