Putin is paranoid crazy or using this as a ruse, excuse for his actions.
The nato threatens Russia argument, which is pushed by several Russian propagandists here, makes no sense, uses ludicrous analogies.
NATO should have been disbanded when the USSR fell - or at least the US should have stopped financing & participating at that time.
If Europeans want to band together to fight their own wars against outside nations and between themselves,let them do it with their own people and money. America rescuing them from themselves twice in the last century alone is more than enough of carrying them.
Now that NATO knows Russia doesn’t want to border with NATO
Prefer NATO to U.N.
Current events prove that that was a stupid idea.
It is getting to the point that I couldn’t tell the difference between the Dems and the Russians. Both socialist, both bent on world domination, both lying weasels.
NATO countries are censoring Russian media outlets so who knows what their complaints actually are.

NATO sucks. Ukranian NATIONALISM is winning rhe day.
NATO gets, “permission” from the UN to move forward with some directives, and others are mandated by UN resolutions.
Well, Ukraine is not yet part of NATO. Putin will not allow certain nations to join, i.e. Finland.
However, EU is also giving support to Ukraine

ONLY AFTER Kosovo was severed from Serbia. How did Kosovo get severed? Not through the UN, sorry, Russia wasn’t on board. Only through a unilateral action (i.e., illegal action) by NATO, since it didn’t have UN approval, and for that matter, wasn’t even in NATO’s charter. But I guess since we were doing the attacking and the media covered for us (along with uniparty), it was ok.
Pretty damn sad when even NATO has to try to deceive people, just like our media does.

The way it’s going, it may be a lot more dead than just Putin, particularly if you live near a large city.
Fact: NATO is a defensive alliance, whose purpose is to protect our member states.
First, someone famous wrote "all empires are defensive."
Second, look at where Russia's ports are. Either they get frozen in in the winter or they can be blockaded by Sweden or Denmark or Turkey or Morocco or Italy or Gibralter or Tunisia.
So this pathetic pleading of ignorance - we don't know what you are talking about is disingenuous nonsense.
You can claim you aren't going to pay in attention to a whining lunatic from a thrid rate power that has more nuclear weapons of more different capabilities than anyone else on the face of the earth, but you can't argue that he is simply misinformed and that NATO hasn't expanded to remove any buffer between Russia and NATO and that it isn't in fact encircling Russia.

So the world and NATO are somehow responsible for Russia being in a deep freeze and that should excuse them for taking ice free assets by force if they want to? I fail to see any merit in your statement. ukraine has no ports so does that make them free to attack Poland to get one?
Russia is free to be part of the world of civil nations if they are civil. Not without that or until.
Their leader is behaving as a brute and a bully just as I would be if I attacked my neighbor for proposing to ally with his neighbor.
NATO has never attacked anyone, started a war or taken territory.
