Unlike the cheap Chinese crap that you like to buy from Amazon, etc... imported ammo currently is not making a dent in anything that domestic ammo producers are producing. And before you jump on me again... I reload, and the components that I have been purchasing are from domestic sources.

I once took an overtime opportunity to assist the paramedics at an MMA event. The most surprising thing was how quickly each contest ended, with one guy choking out the other almost immediately every time. Our supposed buddies, one of the most corrupt governments on the planet are the ones who are the threat. Anyone who shoots it knows the ban actually began last August, when new or renewal imports licenses were ended. Existing ones were honored but are drying up fast. U.S. factories weren't tooled up to compete because nobody could beat Russian prices. Now, not so much, but they're already running extra shifts to catch up with demand on other calibers. 300 AAC is still outrageous - a buck and a half a cartridge for the good stuff, but it's coming down. Perhaps someday I'll own a gun myself...

At this point it is all about language, do you understand what deterrence means? Did you watch Putin's statement? It is on YouTube. He said that he was putting their army's deterrent forces on high alert. He didn't actually mention nuclear weapons. That is all inferred. But his language was all about deterrence.

The Russians have no need to use nukes in the Ukraine which has traditionally been one of their own provinces. There is no need for armchair war mongers such as yourself to be hyping up the possibility of nuclear war over this political theater. I will start getting a little more worried when they start shutting off the electricity, high speed internet, cell phones and land lines. Until then it is all show. They are most likely going to install a puppet government and life will likely return to whatever the new normal will be in the Ukraine. There is not much that will be done that can change this.
