It appears you were wrong, as well as many other here who defended Putin and continue to do so.
I was correct all along. Putin is evil and unhinged like most despots, as he arrests those in Russia who protest this stupid invasion.

I agree. But Putin is deluded and he likely still thinks that Zelensky will surrender. Putin miscalculated on the invasion and I believe he will continue to miscalculate.

Not wise to make Putin a new Hitler—this war will be over soon. Moscow has not fallen, we will need to work with this man. If he should be toppled—who is to say he will be replaced by a real Hitler—or Stalin? This could end with a lot of people Dead! Some openly talk of a “First Strike” to take out Russian Madman Putin with nukes. Then we will not need to worry about crime in the cities—because they will not be anymore cities. Only winner—Red China. Without USA they get the world to run. America will be a memory—like England Today—a second rate banana Republic—living on memories.

I saw on a podcast that Putin has been developing a small tactical nuke program for 20 years. Trump started one also to dissuade him from using it, but we are many years behind on this. Also, the podcast guest surmised that Putin smells weakness in America and will begin to make threats. Looks like this is coming to pass.
Keep an eye on the lying traitors in D.C., if most of them suddenly head out of town.
